Why aren't there seat belts in buses and taxicabs?

Seriously, Why? I don't ride in Taxis alot, but the times I did there weren't any seat belts. Not that I wear my seat belt anyways. Ok I do if I am riding in the front or the driver asks me too, but I prefer to not wear my seat belt, cause I have this fear of being trapped in the car by my seat belt.

Anyways, Turkey dinner was good, BIL came over and ate and then helped clean dishes, cause Hubby doesn't do dishes. Actually Hubby doesn't clean at all. lol. I don't mind, but sometimes I wish he'd helped me. I have asked and the few times he helped, he made it worse. BLAH.

Seriously this post is mostly just nonsense cause I'm tired and cranky and bored. Even I have no idea why I continue to write this post. heh.

I'm gonna end this now and mop my kitchen floor again.

Well, I know it was a rhetorical question, but the reason there are no seat belts in buses is for that very reason....being trapped in an accident.

On school buses that's why the seat backs are so high. It's to cushion the kids and therefore enough of a safety measure due to the size of the bus. That's also part of the reason for the black stripe down the side of a bus. It can show exactly where the bus was hit during an emergency and it actually will tell the crews what kids in what seats need attention first and the severity of potential injuries dependent on if it hits below, in the middle or above the stripe.

I know.........way to much info. I'm such a nerd. :^P
